J.Fold New York was created by designer Will Snyder in 2003 out of the desire to change what had been a very boring category... Men's wallets.

Traditionally, wallets had been basic, boring, black or brown rectangles that hadn't changed much in 1000 years. A wallet is often a man's only daily accessory, so why should a man have to carry around something that looks like his grandpa might have.

J.Fold released an 8 piece collection of bi fold wallets in 2003. Such a small range had a huge impact and J.Fold found the attention of buyers across the US. Some of J.Fold's first accounts were big hitters like The Terrance Conran Shop and the MoMA store in New York.

The word spread fast that J.Fold had designed a unique alternative to the run of the mill wallets that everyone had at the time. J.Fold quickly took on the UK and eventually Australia where today they can be found in over 100 specialty fashion, designer giftware and travel goods stores as well as major department stores such as David Jones. J.Fold enjoys a huge cult following here in Australia and we're happy that you have made it this far to reach us.

Now in our 8th year J.Fold continues to produce an expanded range of their branded "Sportwallets" and have evolved to include business and leisure bags and well as leather belts.
